Portugal tem um vasto potencial de energia eólica e offshore que deve ser aproveitado para cumprir os ambiciosos compromissos de produção renovável assumidos a nível europeu.
Portugal has vast wind and offshore energy potential that must be harnessed in order to meet the ambitious renewable production commitments made at European level.The estimates of offshore wind capacity for Portugal reflect the need to develop a very relevant supply chain which, in part, must be captured by the country. To meet this challenge, ATE’s WP07 – Offshore Wind aims to strengthen and expand Portugal’s capacity in the offshore wind energy sector.
This WP7, made up of Etermar – Engenharia S.A., Fórum Oceano, INESC TEC and WavEC – Offshore Renewables, is focused on several initiatives:
i) the construction of floating platforms based on reinforced concrete for offshore wind energy;
ii) the development of digital tools to monitor construction processes (in digital twin logic); and
iii) the establishment of industrial processes that strengthen the national value chain with new technologies and processes.
