INESC TEC and Beta-i are preparing to launch the Open Innovation Program, aimed at partners of the ATE Agenda, with the objective of identifying and accelerating innovative solutions in the energy sector, promoting collaboration between companies, R&D centers, and startups.
The first phase of the program involves conducting a workshop, where strategic challenges and opportunities for the sector will be mapped. This survey will serve as a basis for the next phase, which includes scouting and selecting solutions with potential for implementation in pilot projects.
The program focuses on key areas such as energy transition and carbon reduction, energy communities, industrial efficiency and circularity, digitalization and automation in the energy sector, as well as new mobility solutions and their integration with energy infrastructure.
Participation offers partners various advantages, including the possibility to:
