Applications are officially open for the ATE Open Innovation Program, an international initiative seeking startups, scaleups, researchers, and technology providers ready to shape the future of energy through collaborative innovation.

Promoted by the Alliance for Energy Transition (ATE) and driven by Beta-i and INESC TEC, the program aims at the co-development of innovative solutions with major industry players – Grupo Brisa, EDP, and Infraestruturas de Portugal – in four strategic areas: data interoperability, intelligent and disruptive mobility, battery circularity, and energy communities.

The program offers a range of benefits, including:

  • Building partnerships with leading companies and co-designing customized solutions
  • Accessing mentorship and specialized support to refine and expand your solution
  • Gaining visibility in Portugal’s main energy innovation ecosystem
  • Entering new markets and unlocking long-term business opportunities

The ATE Open Innovation Program aims to promote the creation of solutions that contribute to a more sustainable and efficient energy transition, bringing the innovation ecosystem closer to the concrete needs of the sector.

Applications are open until November 7, and can be submitted through the website ateopeninnovation.pt.
